For the first time ever, community foundations will have one consolidated source of information to do benchmarking on salaries and other expenses, fee structures, alternative sources of revenue, and other financial issues. Foundations will be able to enter their information, access technical assistance, and easily generate reports comparing their foundation and products to others using filters such as age, asset size, geography, and asset composition. Over time, Community Foundation Insights will likely phase in additional services, such as reporting on best practices and research on financial trends. This initiative is proceeding as planned.
