Community Foundation Insights

We are wrapping up the initial fundraising phase to launch Community Foundation Insights (CFI).  More than $1.5M has been committed to date from 32 community foundations, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, and the Council on Foundations Community Foundations Leadership Team.  Our goal is to raise $1.7 million to cover the costs of starting and operating CFI for the first three years.  After this initial start up period, CFI is expected to be self-sustaining.

We are proud to announce that CFI membership was officially opened to the Community Foundation field on October 1st, 2007.  The next phase includes expanding the database and enhancing the powerful peer comparison tools available on the CFI website.
