David Zapol


Senior Consultant

David works with international health clients on a broad range of issues including strategy, evaluation, and operations. David’s work ranges from the disease specific: a diarrhea treatment market analysis; to the cross-cutting: a strategy for impact on capacity development in Sub-Saharan Africa; to the technical: an integrated go/no-go recommendation for an anti-malarial development program in Phase II with a large pharmaceutical client. Prior to FSG, David worked in product marketing at Pharsight Corporation, a firm providing consulting and software services to pharmaceutical clients. David co-designed the DMX software now used in to support go/no go decisions in early clinical development.

David received his M.B.A./M.P.H. from Columbia Business School and the Mailman School of Public Health in Health Policy and Management. He holds an M.S. in Immunology from Stanford University Medical Center and a B.S. in Biology from M.I.T.
