Patty Russell


Senior Consultant

Patty Russell is part of FSG’s Seattle office and has more than ten years of experience advising corporations, private foundations, and nonprofit organizations on strategy, program design, evaluation, and operational improvement.  She has led a variety of engagements at FSG, including projects with a global health and community-based philanthropy focus. Patty has recently managed engagements developing a strategic plan for a new regional private foundation in Ohio, facilitating an implementation planning process with a large community foundation, and designing a performance management framework for a major pharmaceutical corporate foundation.

Prior to joining FSG, Patty worked on evaluation and strategy projects as a manager of business planning at Biogen Idec, a Boston-based biotechnology firm. Her nonprofit experience includes the development of patient healthcare improvement initiatives at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston as well as programmatic work at the Salzburg Global Seminar in Austria.  She also has worked and volunteered in five Latin American countries on community health projects with the Ministries of Health.

Patty holds an M.B.A. from Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business and a B.A. from Middlebury College.
