Milena Rubel
Administrative Assistant
Milena comes to FSG after creating an alliance between the youth program planners for the City of Somerville and the Christian Community Ministry, where she also served as the assistant to the treasurer and the ministry leaders. At the Christian Community Ministry, Milena was also heavily involved in planning and organizing all major conferences and events.
An active volunteer, Milena supported the work of the Centro de Apoio ao Doente de Aids, an organization that provides assistance for HIV-positive women. More recently, she accepted a volunteer leadership position overseeing work in the U.S. on behalf of an international ministry based in Brazil.
Born and raised in Goiania, Brazil, Milena has traveled extensively, and studied for three years in France. Milena is currently pursuing a bachelor of arts in business administration at Newbury College in Brookline, Mass. She is fluent in Portuguese, French, Spanish, and English.
