Jumaane Tafawa
Consultant
Jumaane Tafawa comes to FSG with experience in both the private and nonprofit sectors. Most recently, he completed a strategic review of a leading pharmaceutical company’s philanthropy portfolio. Prior to joining FSG, Jumaane worked as an analyst at Nexus Associates, an economics and management consulting firm, conducting evaluations and providing strategic advice to private companies, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies. He has completed internships at Mellon Financial, the African Development Bank, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Jumaane has also volunteered with health, youth, agriculture, and education-related nonprofits in Guyana, Papua New Guinea, and Nigeria.
Jumaane holds an M.P.A in International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School and a B.A. with honors in Economics and Business Management from Skidmore College.
