AVINA Foundation

The AVINA Foundation is dedicated to sustainable development in Latin America. It pursues this mission by fostering and nurturing a network of social entrepreneur "Leader-Partners" that share its objectives.

FSG has helped the AVINA Foundation:

• Understand the scale and reach of United States grantmaking abroad--and how the barriers to greater international giving by U.S. organizations might be surmounted;
• Assess and refine its strategy for increased impact; and,
• Evaluate, in partnership with a Buenos-Aires based evaluation firm, the power of informal networks to increase the effectiveness of AVINA's investments in hundreds of social entrepreneurs.
