The Skoll Foundation

The Skoll Foundation was created by Jeff Skoll in 1999 to pursue his vision of a world where all people, regardless of geography, background or economic status, enjoy and employ the full range of their talents and abilities. The Foundation advances this mission by investing in, connecting, celebrating, and empowering social entrepreneurs.

FSG has helped The Skoll Foundation to:

• Clarify programmatic goals and expectations related to the funding of social entrepreneurs
• Develop the Foundation's first set of performance measures. As part of this work, FSG received a grant to assess the state of evaluation practice in the field of social entrepreneurship. The results of this research were published as a white paper entitled "Measuring Innovation."
