The Novartis Foundation for Sustainable Development is an outgrowth of the engagement of Novartis' predecessor companies, Ciba, Geigy, and Sandoz, in development policy and humanitarian issues. It seeks to bring together different partners from industry, government, and civil society to foster exchange and to collaborate on contributions to the solution of societal problems.
FSG has helped the Novartis Foundation for Sustainable Development to:
- Evaluate their positioning based on a stakeholder survey and in-depth interviews. This process led to a sharpened vision for its interventions on global health issues
