The mission of the Arcus Foundation is to achieve social justice that is inclusive of sexual orientation, gender identity and race, and to ensure conservation and respect of the great apes.
FSG has helped the Arcus Foundation to:
- Develop a strategic plan to guide the Arcus Foundation’s efforts to achieve policy change and cultural transformation on issues of sexuality, race, and gender in the U.S. and to promote increased respect and care for great apes around the world. The plan identified specific goals and objectives for each program.
- Develop a prospective evaluation process to strengthen the foundation’s capacity to track progress towards its strategic goals and increase its overall effectiveness.
