Eva Nico

Director
Eva Nico is based in FSG’s San Francisco office, where she has worked with a number of foundation clients addressing health and community-based philanthropy issues in the United States. Eva has particular experience in strategic planning and evaluation for grantmakers working in the health arena and co-leads FSG’s U.S. Health practice area. She has also worked with a number of community foundations on growth and sustainability issues, and on furthering their understanding of donor and stakeholder preferences. In addition to client work, Eva has led a number of FSG’s research initiatives informing grantmaker strategies and evaluation practices. Prior to joining FSG, Eva was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company where she served corporate and nonprofit clients. She has also done volunteer work for the Clinton Foundation focusing on the issue of obesity.
Eva holds a Ph.D. from Oxford University funded by the Rhodes Scholarship and a B.A., summa cum laude, in Physics from the University of Notre Dame.
