Jeffrey Cohen


Senior Consultant

Jeff Cohen is based in FSG’s Seattle office, where he has worked with corporate funders as well as private and community foundations. His work has included strategic planning engagements on issues including developing an education program strategy, improving educational outcomes to foster youth and evaluating grantee support services for a venture philanthropy organization.  Prior to joining FSG, he was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he served companies in the telecommunications industry as well as education organizations.  Jeff’s prior nonprofit experience includes work in MIT’s development office.  He has also been extensively involved with education-related nonprofit organizations as a volunteer.  

Jeff holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where he was an F.C. Austin Scholar, an M.A. in Classics from Yale University, and a B.A., magna cum laude, in Classics from Harvard University.
